Acupuncture

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient health science that was discovered in Asia between 5000 and 7000 years ago.  Early physicians in Asia discovered that various points in the body could be stimulated to affect the energy flow (Chi) through the body. This energy courses through the organs and tissues of the body and when blocked can lead to ill health and disease.  Acupuncture helps to restore the body to a state of balance.

What You Can Expect?

In our clinic we utilize both needle and non-needle techniques such as laser and electronic acupuncture to achieve desired clinical results.  We also practice auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture) and Dr. Decker is trained in other Chinese, Japanese and Korean methods as well.  The use of Chinese herbs and other nutritionals are many times partnered with acupuncture treatments to enhance treatment success. Treatments can last anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes and are generally painless. Research shows most people achieve desired results in 8-12 visits and often the results are permanent.
